Christmas is always fun and Santa Claus blessed me more than I deserve. For maybe the first time ever, everything I received was on my list. I was really excited to receive all these. I've opened the random cards and watched the Justice Society: World War II animated movie while I've started reading volume 1 of Justice League. Boba Fett's ship (Micro GalaxyZ) came from my grandsons and it'll be added to my modest Boba Fett collection once I receive the custom stand I ordered. Shirts are always appreciated and Kawhi is my favorite NBA player. Motley Crue is a favorite band of mine and the Dr. Feelgood album is my favorite of theirs. Just lots of silly fun stuff . It's more enjoyable watching everyone else open their gifts but also seeing the joy they get from giving. Everyone have a fun New Year's Eve!

2019 Favorite Cards
Deciding on my favorite cards of the year was tough but determining my single most favorite of the year was easy - this Anfernee Simons card that came from Cards on Cards in February. I love this card. The emotion and background, which evoke playing ball on outside courts, are a big hit with me.
This 2018-2019 Upper DeckMarc-Andre Fleury card came to me in a random pack in April. Upper Deck really does hockey right and photos like this are a big reason why.
Baseball was much tougher to pick a winner but speaking of photos...this is a great shot of Atlanta Braves stud Freddie Freeman. Emotion is always something fun when caught on film well. This card came from a random pack of 2019 Stadium Club in September.
This Boba Fett came from a blaster of 2018 Star Wars Galaxy cards I opened in March. I really enjoyed the box but this card is a great rendering of one of Star Wars' iconic characters. I like this so much it was in the running for top card of the year. As is, it is a solid #2 and my favorite non-sport card of 2019.
I'm a big fan of the WWE Women's Division cards and this card is from a 2019 Blaster. Not a flashy card but I like how the Women's division has been spotlighted and this is just a cool card to me and my favorite wrestling card of the year.
Another card where the photo sells it. Snow cards are already a big plus and this one is just too cool with the snow being a prominent part of the picture, the white Colts' jerseys and the camera catching the look in the eyes of T.Y. Hilton. This was from a random pack of 2018 Donruss Football back in May.
And last but not least this Dale Earnhardt Jr. is tops among my NASCAR pulls this year. This great shot of Jr. looking all intense came from a pack of 2013 Press Pass in March. This is a fun exercise I really enjoy. It's fun looking back at posts from the year and even more fun, and tough, narrowing down my top cards.
Everyone have a safe and Happy New Year. I look forward to more fun with cards in 2020.

Star Wars Black 6" Archive Collection Boba Fett Figure
Hasbro first released their Boba Fett Black Series 6" figure in 2013. Since then the secondary market was the only way to pick one of these up and they aren't cheap. Listening to fans Hasbro has once again released Boba Fett as part of the Star Black Series Archive Collection. That's a huge win for those of us not lucky enough to pick up this Star Wars icon up the first time around.
From the review videos I've seen comparing this to the original released figure there is very little that has changed and those differences are minor. This guy looks great out of the box and I played around a little outside getting photos of him. It was breezy today so it was nice to see his cape caught in the wind.
A long time favorite of Star Wars fans this guy looks so good in hand.
The figure includes the jet pack, rifle, and pistol. The pistol is below the jet pack to the right and is brown in color in the holster.
A visual guide of the Star Wars Black 6" series can be seen here. The Archive first wave hasn't been added yet but also includes Luke Skywalker (in pilot suit), IG-88 and Bossk. Bounty hunter enthusiasts have been so excited as those last two were also previously released and are now hard to find. I may pick those up later but my budget limits me to those I'm really a fan of. Wave 2 of the Archive figures hits the shelves this spring and will include Episode V Yoda, Episode III Anakin Skywalker, and Biker Scout. I wish I could pick up all the 6" Black Series figures current and past. They for the most part are really good figures and while they run you $19.97 a piece I think that isn't bad for the size and quality. For those of you wondering they still make Star Wars figures in 3.75" size which is comparable to the originals released in the 70's and 80's with the original trilogy. I don't really have the space to display all I have nor the budget to grab them all but I do have a decent collection of 6" figures that I know will only grow.
