2023 Stadium Club Blaster

2023 Stadium Club:  Playoffs start TODAY!  Jose Altuve and the Astros know a lot about the playoffs.  Altuve is having a good year and Houston will try to get back to the ALCS for the 8th straight time.  That's crazy to even consider a team has gone to the Championship Series seven straight times in this day and age.
You flip that bat Manny Machado.  He and the Padres had a good year and will be in the playoffs as a wild card.  I somehow bought this box in June but never posted it but it feels very appropriate for today.
Playoffs, playoffs, playoffs.  All three of these teams will be in the post season.  I'm good with the design though it's a bit bland.  But when you want to show off the photos I get it.
All three of these are good looking cards.  The Jeter action shot is great but there's something about that Eric Davis shot I really like too.
Bo played in the 1993 playoffs with the Whites Sox in the ALCS but lost to eventual World Series champion Toronto.
I'm not a fan of the inserts.  They feel really out of place.  The photos like "standard" picture compared to the Stadium Club standard and the backgrounds do nothing for me.
A great photo which really is the hallmark of Stadium Club.
The backs are good.  They hit the marks with colors, logos, photo, and the expected filler.
Master Photos aren't my thing.  Not the standard size of a card so they are tough inclusions into the collection.  This really was a good box though.  Plenty of stars, great photos including this Thurman Munson take, and plenty of variety in terms of current players and retired greats.

  1. I really like the Stadium Club cards from 2023. I like the Guerrero base and O'Neil Cruz insert as favorites since I have player collections of both. What is your prediction for the postseason? I am going with Cleveland and the New York Mets in the World Series.

    1. I have to say Braves. But if I'm looking from the outside looking in, I go Dodgers-Guardians. Should be a fun playoffs. All the teams are good and we could see some surprises.

  2. Some cool photos. Unfortunately, the best ones seem to be on ho cards.
