Random Wax: 2016 Score Football

No surprise I'm back with another pack of the 2016 Score football.  I like the design and variety this set has to offer.  To start we have Tony Romo and his replacement Dak Prescott whose showcased in his Mississippi State uniform.  I like both players and I really like Romo as an announcer. 

 Von Miller is still a dominant force in the NFL and this is a nice photo where he has his "eyes on the prize" as he beats an offensive lineman around the corner.  A buddy turned on the Eagles game last week and thought he was transported back to 2007 when he saw Darren Sproles splaying.  Sproles is still a key contributor at the age of 35.  

I do like the photos in this set.  The design lends toward being able to show them off which is always a good thing.

Hey a Buffalo Bill! ...who had a great year for the LA Rams totaling 86 receptions and over 1200 yards.  Just kind of knew he'd be able to put up good numbers playing with a good quarterback.

Random Wax: 2016 Score Football w/Auto

These 2016 Score football cards can be found in Wal-Mart discount card areas and I love them.  This is a nice looking large sized set that is a fun break netting you 52 cards for under four dollars.  I was also able to score a Byron Marshall autograph card (end of post).  His career has been pretty underwhelming so far but I'll never complain about pulling ink.  

Some nice star power at the quarterback position.  I'm probably with the majority though and am not a fan of those retro Steelers jerseys.  Don't get me wrong I love retro and these jerseys are cool for a few minutes.  But watching Pittsburgh play an entire game in these unis is rough. 

My first look at the 2016 NFL Draft inserts and I like them.

All three of these are nice looking cards.  I really thought the All-American card was a green parallel but it isn't numbered.  

I thought this was a pretty nice pull.  Plenty of good players and some nice inserts though I wouldn't mind seeing more in a pack of 52 cards.  Odds are you'll see me break more of these as the year goes on.

Random Wax: 2016 Score Football

This pack of 2016 Score football was really fun.  Though there were only a few inserts the base cards delivered with tons of stars including a trio of the Falcon's best.  A bargain bin find I couldn't be happier.  When many times we get less than 30 cards per pack these are great to bust.  Prospectors will stay away but for guys just looking for cards this 440 card set can be pretty fun. 

  Scored a nice Tom Brady Franchise red parallel for the PC.
