Random Wax: Kayou Hero Series Battle Series 1 Legend Booster– 3 Packs

Kayou Series 1:   I've always been a fan of Black Panther, and I remember buying a Black Panther hat in a mall back in the mid-nineties.  I think it was a Kansas City mall.  Wish I still had it.  I really liked the first movie as well.  The last one was didn't do a whole lot for me.
These China made game cards are thin in the mode of playing cards.  I like the design.  No clue about playing the game.  All about the cards themselves to me.  At a time when it's tough to find affordable Marvel cards these are a good option.
In order the tiers of cards you can pull they go R, SR, SSR, HR, SGR, LR, UR, MR, and CR in that order from most common to the rarest.  It's not easy to find info on these cards.
These are licensed and based off the Marvel movie universe during the height of its popularity.  I'm a fan of most of those movies so that works for me.  Purchased my boxes off AliExpress.
I love Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow.  She was so much fun while kicking butt and taking names.  I think the Black Widow movie is underrated.  Florence Pugh is doing a great job picking up the Black Widow mantle as Yelena Belova.

Random Wax: Kayou Hero Series Battle Series 1 Legend Booster– 3 Packs

Kayou Hero Battle Series 1:  Scarlett Witch has been very prominent in the Marvel movie universe and one I've liked.  I'm still now sure how much I liked WandaVision but she really shined in the movies.
These licensed cards come from a trading card game.  I really like the look, and they focus on the early Marvel cinematic universe which is something I'm a fan of.  These sets are really hard to find information on outside of a checklist.
Some cards are rarer than others and are easily denoted by the letters just below the photo on the left.  In order they go R, SR, SSR, HR, SGR, LR, UR, MR, and CR in that order from most common to the rarest.  The checklist gives a pretty good breakdown of what you should find in each box, and it was exact with mine.  I really do appreciate these being easily labeled.  I still don't know why some cards have red backgrounds behind the lettering and some of the border as opposed to others.
Purchased this off AliExpress.  Prices aren't pretty good compared to other comic card offerings.  That Iron Man card may be my favorite from this post.
Some of the other packs had more variety but these are really fun.  I still have more packs to show off over time.  I really like the Iron Man and Captain Marvell cards in these packs.

Random Wax: Kayou Hero Series Battle Series 1 Legend Booster– 3 Packs

Kayou Battle Series 1:  Purchased a bunch of these last year and I'll show off three more packs today.  The MR cards are the next to most rare from the different types of cards you can pull.
In order the tiers of cards you can pull they go R, SR, SSR, HR, SGR, LR, UR, MR, and CR in that order from most common to the rarest.  These are a bit shiny in hand but are thin like a playing card.  The corners are even rounded like playing cards.  I really do enjoy these.
These are based on the MCU characters which drew me to these.  Actual cards for the movies are much more expensive.  I like the Valkryie card.  All three of these are SR.
These headshots are nice too, especially the Nebula card.  Not many misses in the set.  Not sure what to call that Red R of Iron Man.  Maybe it's a Red parallel.  More detailed information is hard to find but the checklists can be found here.
These are really fun, and the grandsons are fans too.  Not a ton of really affordable Marvel universe cards out there but these help fill that void.

Random Wax: Kayou Hero Battle Series 1 Legend Booster (2 Packs)

Kayou Hero Battle Series 1:  Been a while since I showed some of these off so let's do two more packs.  This UR Ant-Man is the "rarest" of the cards I pulled. It's a UR and I'll show the order of rarity later.
A checklist of these cards can be found here.  This set is based around the characters in the Avengers movies. As a fan of that phase of the Marvel universe these are fun.  The grandsons really like them too since they grew up with these movies.  Some of the recent Marvel card releases are more expensive and show the more classic or comic versions of characters which the grandsons aren't as familiar with.
I really like that War Machine card.  To recap these are part of a licensed card game from China.  The card stock is thin, feeling like playing cards and the corners are rounded.  The lack of affordable comic cards set me down this road of cards.   In order they go R, SR, SSR, HR, SGR, LR, UR, MR, and CR in that order from most common to the rarest.
I really like these cards.  Right in my wheelhouse since I enjoy the movies as much as the next guy.  Details on these sets are hard to find but there I did find this Facebook group helpful.   Nice looking Captain Marvel to end it on.

Kayou Hero Battle Series 1 Legend Booster (3 Packs)

Kayou:  Was excited to get these cards.  Not enough Marvel product around right now and these hit the spot.  These are licensed cards from a collectible card game made in China.  The checklist can be found here.  Information is hard to find so it's not so easy to get up to speed without help.  Thanks to Colby over at Cardboard Collections for introducing me to these cards.  This Kayou Facebook group has been helpful in seeing the different cards as well as resources.
This photos are based off the characters from the Avengers movies.  As you can see there are different styles in cards.  I like all three of these.  The headshots have a cool look to them while Iron Man makes it look even better.  The straight up pose like Black Widow is nice and then there are the more stylized cards like this Hulk.
Yep we got a fat Thor.  I'm not a fan of the character in the movie but I like this card.  Always like Rhodey as War Machine so I was happy with that pull.  The cards themselves have a playing card feel (thin) to them as well as rounded corners.
Some cards are rarer than others and are easily denoted by the letters just below the photo on the left.  These are "R", the most common as seen on Thor and Iron Man,  The other is an SGR which is about middle of the road.  In order they go R, SR, SSR, HR, SGR, LR, UR, MR, and CR in that order from most common to the most rare.  The checklists give a pretty good breakdown of what you should find in each box and it was exact with mine.  I really do appreciate these being labeled as they are.

My only complaint so far?  No Falcon!  My favorite Marvel character.  Really surprised we don't see him in this set.  Bummer. Otherwise these are really fun.  My grandsons were really excited as was I.  The price point was good as well so no complaints.
