Random Wax: 2019-2020 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball (5 Dollar Tree Packs)

2019-2020 Absolute Basketball:  Some more of these I bought back when basketball cards weren't priced like gold.  These Dollar Tree exclusive Absolute cards are a design I like.  They are also home to exclusive yellow rookie parallels.  Grabbed a Lillard for the first time in this format so that was great.

 My pull contained major star power.  Not long and we'll see these guys playing for real.

 I didn't hit it big in the rookie department though Culver has been solid as a rookie.  I pulled a Zion in my first crack at these but still haven't gotten a Morant.  Doubtful these will ever be found in the wild again but I'd definitely open more of these.  The design and checklist has me hooked.

2019-2020 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball:  Back to this brand which I like.  A Dollar Tree exclusive the big draw for many is the chance at a Zion yellow exclusive to these packs.  No Zion like my first pull but I still did well.  LeBron and a pretty cool photo kicks this post off.  For some reason I found myself drawn to the faces of the crowd in the background.  

This pack delivered pretty well.  The Greek Freak could have just as easily led off this post.  He and LeBron are neck and neck for MVP this season though Giannis probably has the lead at this point.

These are the yellow exclusives available in these packs.  Nassir Little hasn't shown much with the Trail Blazers yet but Coby White and Tyler Herro are both doing well for their respective teams.  They are averaging 13.2 and 12.9 points this season.

Plenty of rookies in each pack between the yellow and these RC cards(16 of 25 total cards).  These three are having various degrees of success with Jarrett Culver standing out averaging 9.2 a game for the Timberwolves.  These are nice cards and it's fun chasing Zion.  I have more to show off down throughout the year so stay tuned.

2919-2020 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball (5 Dollar Tree Packs)

2019-2020 Absolute Basketball:  BlowoutBuzz busted some of these retail packs which are only found at Dollar Tree.  Each comes with one of 25 rookie yellow inserts.  I picked up five packs giving chase of a Zion and bam...there he was in the first pack.  Can't beat that.

I like the design on these.  Simple with a good sized team logo.  I also thought many of the photos were pretty nice.  As late as these came out I did think we might see players in their new unis but no dice.

The backs are only have two colors but I like the simple result.  

Like any other set you'll find rookies and with a base set size of 100 you'll get plenty of stars.  With a good design and plenty of star power at only a buck a pack I'm sure I'll buy more of these.
