2025 Topps Chrome WWE Blaster

2025 ChromeRhea Ripley is one of the big names in the WWE Women's Division.  She won the Women's World Championship at Raw last month.
It's been a while since I did a wrestling card post, and I was excited to see these on the shelves.  That Wes Lee is what I think is a Prizm Refractor.  All these cards sans the last one I'll share have chrome borders.  I know some scan as dark but they are not.
Here we have a base Izzi Dame and the Prizm Refractor.  You don't get all that color on either card.  Just the way they scanned.
The only vertical base card I pulled.  Wish we'd see more.
These are a 1985 Topps Current inserts.  I like these.  It feels 80s.
My Sepia Refractors.  They are fine but don't move the needle for me.
My pull overall felt a little light but the base set is 200 cards.  You aren't going to get the big names every time but they do have all the big names in this set.
I like these Tag Teams inserts.  More color and more going on on the fronts.
Allen & Ginter inserts.  Solid look and I like them.  That Jaida Parker card is a Refractor Parallel.  This set is Topps' return to WWE cards.  Last time they had the WWE license was 2021.
We'll end it with a Neon Green and Black Refractor.  I love the look.  The green and the cracks combined with the photo itself look so cool.  I may not buy another blaster, but I'll pick off some singles from the set.  This was a fun return to WWE cards.

Random Wax: 2020 Topps WWE Chrome

2020 Chrome WWE:  I'm not a shiny card guy but this is a design I like.  The backgrounds are a big part of that.  They aren't just a big silver background but have depth and color.  There's a look there.  We'll kick off this pack with my favorite wrestler, Alexa Bliss.  She's fun, kicks @ss, and has some great cards.
Pretty cool Brock Lesnar card.  Pretty sure he was about to kick someone's butt.
Wrestling cards lend themselves to good photography and there are plenty in this set.
I think this is a great photo of Asuka.
Love that disgusted look on Shayna's face.
This photo almost doesn't look like it is from an actual match but of course it is.
Fun pack of cards.  Good design and photos.  Kane!  Kane was a part of one WWE's Most Wanted Treasures episodes which was really fun to watch.  Well worth it as are the other episodes as well.

BREAKDOWN:
12 – Total Cards
1 – Shocking Wins

Alex Bliss Stickers from Topps UK

Topps UK WWE: As part of my June order from Topps UK I picked up some individual stickers of Alexa Bliss who is my favorite current wrestler.  She's also perfect to kick off the month of October as she ties in well with Collecting Cutch's Save Second Base campaign.  He does this every October to up breast cancer awareness.  Check out what he does and you can visit the National Breast Cancer Organization to donate or get educated.
Definitely some cool Topps WWE cards come out of the UK in the form of Slam Attax which couldn't be produced in the US due to copyright issues or so I read somewhere.  This is my first look at some of the stickers and I love that you can purchase individual stickers from the site.
The stickers come from the Raw vs NXT vs SmackDown Live and 2021 - The Road to Wrestlemania sticker collections.  The Last Sticker is a good place to find checklists which aren't as readily available as I'd hoped.  Big fan of both of these stickers.
I also couldn't find photos that easily so I just grabbed some random Bliss stickers.  Good thing I picked up both of these or I'd been irritated.
Alexa is definitely a dynamic force in the WWE right now. Changed up her persona some lately but still fun at heart. Love the photo on this sticker.  Just showing these off and I hope you enjoyed.

2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania Cards

The 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania Cards are Topps first set of the new year as they ramp up the WWE cards.  WrestleMania 35 is in April of this year.  This is a nice looking set and showcases highlights from past events across the WWE empire.  They do a good job with the photos from events and they do well with the write ups on the back.  The roster cards are simple but give us a good look at stars of the WWE.  This isn't my favorite WWE set but it is a good primer.  You won't see many DIVAS here but I've seen speculation that is due to them having their own set and not wanting to put too many of the ladies out their prior to it's release late in the year.  My favorite card here was the Alexa Bliss roster card - I doubt much explanation is needed.  Again Topps did well and I'll show off more cards below.
BREAKDOWN:
20 - Total Cards

4 - Wrestlemania 35 Roster
2 - Wrestlemania
2 - SmackDown Live
2 - Clash of Champions
1 - Hell in a Cell

2018 Topps WWE Then Now Forever

I've seen the 2018 Topps WWE Then Now Forever described as a series 2 or update to the main set.  I don't know the majority of these wrestlers but again I'm a casual WWE observer at best.  Overall I like the designs of the base cards and the photos on them.  The WWE seems to lend itself to cards.  I do think more action shots would be beneficial here though if a wrestler is only getting one card I could see the designers wanting each card to showcase a body shot of each.
I didn't see any in the ring action shots which is something I do like.  Most show wrestlers as they enter the arena.
The WWE Legend I pulled was Curt Henning AKA Mr. Perfect.  Each pack comes with a Shawn Michaels tribute as well.
Here's a few of the 25 Years of Raw cards.  I won't grab more of these but as always I enjoy picking them up WWE cards to see what Topps is doing with them on their cards as well as to bring back memories of when I followed the sport more.

BREAKDOWN:
20 – Cards Total
7 – NXT
6 – 25 Years of Raw
4 – Raw
2 – SmackDown Live

2017 Topps WWE

While it has been years since I followed the sport I do enjoy picking up wrestling cards just to get a look at what they put out and they usually have plenty of retired greats so I also get to go down memory lane.  This pack of 2017 Topps WWE was pretty fun.  First off I got a Ric Flair which screams Woo.  Sorry.  Still he is a favorite so it was great grabbing this card.
The base cards utilize the 2017 Topps baseball design.  It works here.  I really like the Liv Morgan card.  Not sure what pops there for me.  It may be because she is cute and nothing else which wouldn't be the first time.  I really don't know anything about anyone except Ric Flair in this pack but I'm ok with that.
I pulled a Breaking Ground card which is a behind the scenes card and a 1st NXT card, to go along with the two legends and the other three base cards.  Not bad looking cards.  I always enjoy sets that include legends and grabbing Ric Flair makes this pack a definite win.

2016 Topps WWE Heritage Wrestling Cards

Second year in a row I picked up a pack of the Topps WWE Heritage cards.  I liked the 2015 Heritage cards and like these as well.  And that is saying something as these cards are modeled after the 1986 Topps baseball cards which are largely forgettable.  It just works for me.  I liked my pull as well with the blend of retired and current wrestlers.  There were 16 cards in the pack to include The Rock and Brock Lesnar tribute cards.  I really enjoyed the Record Breaker, Turn Back the Clock and All-Star cards all in keeping with the 1986 vibe.  The base cards were broken into Superstar and Legend cards.  Definitely a case where Topps took something old, updated it with a different sport and take, and it came out pretty good.  Good on them.  While I don't get to pay as much attention to wrestling as I would like to I do think wrestling fans would enjoy these cards.  I've missed out on the WWE Divas cards a couple of times at my local Wal-Mart but I'm really hoping to snag a box soon and I'll post that as thenn.
