Random Wax: 2020 Prestige Foootball

2020 Prestige Football: My Bills will hope to upset the Chiefs today.  I think they have a good chance but only if their offense is clicking on all cylinders.  I think the defense will be solid.  Not saying they'll stop Mahomes and that offense but I think they'll represent well.  We'll start this one off with Dak Prescott who was upset in the Wild Card round by the 49ers.  The offense really disappointed.  I'm curious if there'll be any major changes with Dallas in the offseason.
Not a bad pull but I feel it could have been stronger.  Julio Jones made the playoffs thanks to the trade that sent him to the Titans.  Was sorry to see him go but hopefully he'll do well.
Obwuegbunam had a solid second season while Patrick Queen has started all 33 games of his career with the Ravens.
This dude will be a big part of any chance the Rams have of stopping the Buccaneers this weekend.
Campbell is in the twilight of his career but still had some great years in his career.  Old School is always fun as we get to see some retired greats.
Fitz is a favorite of mine so I'm always happy to pull him.  Derek Carr didn't win last week but did have another good year.  OBJ will be catching passes this weekend for the Rams.  Fun pack.  Design isn't bad sans no team logo on the verteran player cards but I've seen worse. Go Bills!

Random Wax: 2020 Prestige Football

2020 Prestige Football:  This pack has been hanging around since August but with the Packers' training camp starting up today it seems very appropriate.  Will A-A-Ron be there?  I have to think he will be but it is the biggest question still lingering out there.  And if he is there how awkward is it?
Some solid base card pulls.
Great move by Tristan Wirfs as he got a Super Ring as a member of the Bucs last season.
Any Gardner Minshew card needs to showcase his mustache and hair.  Just saying.  Love the Old School inserts and this Ozzie Newsome in particular.
These Worldwide cards don't do a lot for me but I really like the Power House inserts.  Fun pack!

2020 Prestige Football Blaster

2020 Prestige Football:  Actually found this in the wild at a Wal-Mart I rarely get to.  I like the design.  My pull was a bit "meh" but I won't complain.  We'll kick it off with Derek Carr.  Many will say he has disappointed and if you are only counting wins that is a fair assessment.  I don't think the Raiders have really had a team as a whole to support winning so I give him somewhat of a pass.  Last year really was a good year for him passing.  I want to see the Raiders relevant again so hopefully they can find the winning way.
No arguments with the running backs I pulled.  Sure wish Barkley hadn't gotten hurt.  Doubt it would have changed the Giants' fortunes but still hate seeing any player, much less one of his quality go down.
So the design is good but I saw someone mention how all the photos are full body upright pictures.  I blew that off but they are.  Seems kind of repetitive as you go through the packs.  If I'd never seen that comment maybe I don't notice it?  Probably not a big thing one way or the other.  Backs are nice with the photo and some color.
One of the inserts.  Not bad but not much wow factor.
Rookies of course have their place. They only come one per pack so finding key rookies may be a bit tough.
I like the Power House insert.  The Impressions isn't bad either but I waver on it.  You won't find a ton of inserts in comparison to some other brands.
I like this Julio Jones card.  This was a fun box.  I shouldn't complain about my pull but when you don't see some of the top quarterbacks it can be a bit of a downer.  Glad I was able to find one of these and share.  And my relic was a hall of famer which was a big plus.
