Random Wax: 2022 Chronicles Football

2022 Chronicles: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are headed back to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons.  Love watching this guy.  He's my second favorite player in the league today and a Texas Tech alum.  

Only picked up two packs of these but wish I had grabbed more last year.  The base design is okay but it needs the team logo.  Same with pretty much every design within this set.  

These are Gridiron Kings and that Danny Gray is a Bronze Parallel.  It's a busy design but I kind of like it.

A couple of acetate cards.  Nice St. Brown pull there. Travon Walker had a really good year for the Jags getting 10 sacks.

Christian McCaffrey scoring a touchdown.  Go figure.  And he's my favorite player in the NFL right now.  These Photogenic cards are pretty cool.  Love the Mahomes from the first pack I opened of this.  This Burrow is no slouch.

2022 Chronicles Football

2022 Chronicles:   My first look at these cards and we'll kick it off with a cool shot of Patrick Mahomes on this Bronze Parallel Photogenic.  Mahomes also took top honors in the other pack I picked up with another good-looking card.

The base cards are okay.  The design is what we are used for Chronicles base cards.  Always happy to pull Brady and Watt cards.

Here you have two Gridiron Kings and a Desmond Ridder Panini.  I like the Gridiron Kings but would like to see some veterans on them.

Luminance goes horizontal with this nice-looking Kenny Pickett card.

These see through cards are Clear Vision and Magnitude offerings.

I'm happy with Chronicles this year.  A few designs click for me and I like the photography.  Wish the packs had more cards but that isn't in the cards.  No pun intended.  We'll end it with another good Photogenic showcasing Justin Herbert.
