Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor (2023)

The Carmichael Manor:  I'm a fan of the original Hell House LLC and found this one by accident last night, when I thought I'd rewatch the original.  I was pleasantly surprised.  The sequels were not very good but this one is a good October watch.  Plenty of suspense, it does a good job of tying it to the original, a good story and some really creepy moments make worth searching out.  Three young adults staying in a house where murders occurred, they find out it is truly haunted, and things go scarily bad from there.  I won't say which one, but one scene in particular I really found creepy/scary.  I recommend this one.

Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel and Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire Movies

Hell House LLC II and III:  I really enjoy the original Hell House LLC.  I finally got around to watching the sequels.  They definitely don't live up to the original but there are some good parts and they both pay attention homage to their predecessor(s).  They would have been just fine for what they are but the endings didn't stick the landing. HHII went with an odd story choice, andwhile not straying from the original story, it just made it awkward in my opinion.  The ending of HHIII was similar but add in some shots that looked like they were shot by high schoolers and it really took away from what positives the film might have had.  The first film was pretty straight forward and enjoyable in its simplicity.  There are good parts to these as well but I just can't recommend them.

Hell House LLC Movie

Another random Halloween appropriate movie myself, the wife and daughter watched tonight is Hell House LLC.  We watched it off Amazon Prime and really enjoyed it.  A group who create and run haunted houses pick the wrong house as things go bad.  Made in documentary style I just felt like I kept wanting to see more, to see what would happened next and what would be revealed in the end.  Obviously this falls into the scary movie genre and if you like those I think you may enjoy this movie.  I wanted to pass on what we thought to any who may be looking for a scary movie to watch this October.  MOVIE TRAILER
