Random Wax: 2019 Score Football Hanger Box with Relic

2019 Score:  Eli Manning didn't make the Hall of Fame in his first try.  While two Super Bowl championships for a QB are nothing to sneeze at, his case is still complicated.  Watching him I didn't think of him as a Hall of Fame QB.  I still believe that and even looking back at his career I can't put him in.  Whether he gets in or not, he was a really good QB and he's fun to watch with his brother in retirement.

I'm huge fan of this set and this is my 15th post specific to these cards.  I love this design.  Another good pull in this box.  

Daniel Jones didn't work out with the Giants, but DK Metcalf has done well in Seattle though he's looking to be traded by the Seahawks.  

I miss Andrew Luck and really liked him.

More youngsters. A.J. Brown is the highlight here and looks great in that Ole Miss uni on a purple parallel.

Really good Epix pull.  Lots of folks like these and these are nice looking cards.

I've always liked the Score Huddle Up inserts which give us an out of the box look at the players.  Pulling one with one of my favorites in Todd Gurley on it always helps.

These backs are just as fun.  Lots of color, information and the team logo.

More inserts including a nice Pro Bowl Jersey relic.  Throwbacks are a favorite of mine.  I like those old jerseys.  All-Hands Team inserts are always fun and they normally give us great photos like this one.

I like the Captains cards and Fantasy Stars is a solid insert as well.

Nice Celebration insert.

Really fun box of cards.  I'll end it with my favorite player in the NFL today, Christian McCaffrey.  Can we please have another healthy season from him.  2023 McCaffrey was amazing.

2019 Score:  I'm a huge fan of both Larry Fitzgerald and 2019 Score Football.  I also like these Captains inserts.

This is another of the hanger boxes I picked up last year as part of a sale on BlowoutCards.  Love this design and there are some really good photos.

None of these three have made an impression on the league, or even seen the field in Hall and Moore's cases.  But I still enjoy seeing them in their college unis and snow photos are always a plus.

These are a bit of a shiny card.  They are okay but not one of my favorites.  No complaints with Mahomes though.

Folks love Epix and I pulled two really good players on these.  Great photos on that All-Hands Team Julio Jones.

Not a huddle, but I'll roll with it.  I like these inserts overall.

Throwbacks are inserts I really like.  Don't get much of a "throwback" feel with that Steelers uni.  Not sure what they were going for.  Fantasy Stars are nice cards in hand.  

Plenty of options to see youngsters on cards and again we see their fun college unis.  Those first two are NFL Draft inserts.

Nice celebration insert.

The backs are just as fun and plenty of color.  I dig 'em.  And we end it with a great photo of Marquise Goodwin.

Random Wax: 2019 Score Football Hanger Box

 2019 Score: I love this set so let's do a hanger box with NFL free agency starting today.  Hopes and dreams start today for teams and players hoping to improve their teams and positions.  Stefon Diggs is a Buffalo Bill now but I know Buffalo is hoping to upgrade the receiver position through free agency and the draft next month.

Some really good photos here to pair with the design I enjoy so much.  I think this is my 13th post on this set.

Ups and downs for Daniel Jones and Marquise Brown but DK Metcalf has been very good his entire career in Seattle.

Both of these inserts are good.  Colors match the teams and they look good.

Signal-Callers are shiny inserts.  Andrew Luck had just completed the final season of his career and retired to shock the NFL world.

Showing off the backs of these Throwbacks inserts which might be better than the fronts.  That color and design really make these say "throwback".

I found these hanger boxes at Blowout Cards last fall for $12 a piece so I couldn't resist.  None of these three on the NFL Draft inserts has done anything of note in the league.

Fun.

Epix are favorites of collectors and Mahomes and Donald make them even better.

Fitz is a favorite player of mine and I like the Captains inserts.

I like Huddle Up but this isn't an actual huddle.

As always these are fun.  Jessie Bates is a Falcon now.  I wasn't happy with his signing, but he really was good this season.  Another nice photo on that Orakpo card to end this box.

Random Wax: 2019 Score Football Hanger Box

2019 Score:  This is my twelfth post on this set.  Do I like it?  Yes.  A lot.  I really think Panini nailed it in their homage to 1989 Score Football.  Nice pull from this hanger box even if it is of an OSU alum.

I'm a big fan of almost all things this set does.  I really like the design and the photography. A couple of PC guys here in Luke Kuechly and Larry Fitzgerald.

Some decent rookies in my pull.  There are a ton of rookies in the set so your pull can be hit or miss.

Epix is always a favorite with collectors.

Signal-Callers' horizontal look gives us another look at QBs from the league.

I like the Fantasy Stars and Throwbacks inserts.

Nice jump shot.

NFL Draft inserts give us another look at rookies including the current star receiver for the Eagles, A.J. Brown.

Great photos here highlighting nice catches.

Consistently the photos shine.  I found these boxes over at Blowout Cards for $12 a piece.  Felt like a good price so I didn't hesitate when I saw them.  This isn't the easiest set to find at a good price so I jumped.

Another insert I like.  PC guy Todd Gurley really looks good in that old school Rams uni.

Huddle Up is a solid insert even though there isn't a lot of pizazz to it.

I have three more of these hanger boxes to show off over time.  It really was fun opening these up and remembering how much I like the set as well as just looking back at the different stars at the time.  Great set and plenty of variety here to enjoy.
