Friday the 13th Part 2 is one I'm not 100% sure I'd ever seen before. One night I was in the mood for an old school slasher and this one popped up. So why not. It does stay somewhat true to the same feel as the first one. Is it as good? No, but it was an easy watch and scratched the itch for some fun horror from that era. Not gonna say "recommend" but if this genre is your thing it may work for you.
I do like the opening scene to the movie. I have seen all of them except the new remakes.I am old school horror.I didn't mind this movie that much. Still the best Friday the 13th to me is 6, Jason Lives.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep watching more and now you have me looking forward to 6.
DeleteThis is one of those movies we rented in the 80's from the local video rental shop. Haven't seen it in decades, but this post sure brought back good memories.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. In the 80s it was a go to, right?
