2015 Sons of Anarchy Trading Cards Seasons 6-7 (4 Packs)

Cryptozoic Sons of Anarchy Seasons 6-7: If you thought a show like this would go out with a bang - wow did it.  It also did a decent job of wrapping everything up.  Did everyone make it out?  If you'd seen any of the previous seasons you had a feeling the last ones would be chaotic and bloody.
I'm not a huge fan of the design.  Could have kept a logo and gotten rid of the black stars across the bottom which really don't do much.
This first card is one of the Brawl Puzzle inserts which mirrored photos from the CD cases. I really like these and bet they look cool in a nine card sheet.  The backs are good as always.
A Gallery insert.  Another good looking card.
Everyone finds out what the end game is.
Watching their language isn't a strong suit of these guys.
Chibs (left) was another of my favorite characters.
Even those of us who don't ride motorcycles can get how riding with a group could be fun or a rush.  Sans all the beating people up thing of course.
Again these are good cards and a great compliment to the show.  Won't be for everyone but I think those who like the show will dig 'em.  We'll finish it off with a Mugshot insert.

2015 Sons of Anarchy Trading Cards Seasons 4-5 (4 Packs)

2015 Cryptozoic Sons of Anarchy Season 4 & 5:  This is the second of the three Sons sets.  This is Opie, played by Ryan Hurst.  He's probably my favorite character from the show.
The two leading ladies from the show.  Can't say they cared for each other.
This is one of the Gallery inserts.  I like the close up shots on these cards.  Seeing the lines and imperfections on their mugs make them feel real if now flawed.
Not many promo shots in the set which is good.  Love seeing shots from the show and going back to those moments.
Backs look nice and the info is good and brief.  I like the logo.
Jimmy Smits' character, Nero, was a great addition.  I was dubious at first but was won over by the end of his first episode.
That Chucky card, as they like to call him, is a Character Bio insert.  Chucky was hard not to like though his...uh...issue...was crazy.  More fun cards.  I really enjoyed all of these.  Cryptozoic did another good job.

2014 Sons of Anarchy Trading Cards Seasons 1-3 (4 Packs)

2014 Cryptozoic Sons of Anarchy S1-3: No secret I'm a big fan of Sons of Anarchy so it was only a matter of time until I opened some Sons' wax.  Cryptozoic broke it up in to three releases - season 1-3, season 4&5 and seasons 6&7.  This may be my favorite design of the three sets.  This is the first day of of the Sturgis motorcycle rally so this seems like a great weekend to showcase the cards.  We'll kick it off with the star of the show, Jax, played by Charlie Hunnam.
I like that the photos fill these cards while the logo and short teaser take up very little room.  Katey Sagal, as Gemma, is the matriarch in this bike club saga while Clay is her husband and president of the club.
Three of the major club members in Chibs, Opie and Tig.  Opie was maybe my favorite member of the Sons and best friend of Jax.  Grabbed all these packs from a single seller on eBay for a good price.  The sets aren't too expensive but the autos and relics are pretty pricey as are unopened boxes.
As President and Vice President of the club these guys were key to all directions the Sons went but they weren't always on the same page.  Jax was too much of a thinker.
David Labrava "Happy" is actually a former member of the Hells Angels.  The back provide a little context.  I like these as they bring back context to the photos.  "Bobby" also did a good Elvis show.  This set was pretty simple and I didn't pull any of the few inserts possible.
Jax's lady. Wasn't always easy for them.  Actually it never was.  I really like this show but it isn't for everyone.  It's pretty brutal and can be rough to watch at times.  Still it is a good drama and I think many enjoy watching this bad boy and girl life play out on screen.  The fact it lasted seven seasons is testament to that.

Sons of Anarchy TV Series

Sons of Anarchy:  I purchased the entire run of Sons of Anarchy on DVD some time back.  This week I finished the series which spans seven seasons (2008-2014).  Running on FX it did well as cable television show.  I like many who enjoyed the show was drawn the imagery and cool factor of a motorcycle club.  I actually got season one in maybe 2010.  I was hooked.  Sure it took me years to pick up the entire series and finish it but I'm a huge fan.
Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax Teller, is the lead and does a great job of drawing us in and making us relate to and even root for these guys.  The rest of the club and supporting characters do just as great a job in making us like this show.  There are plenty of characters who fade in and out of story lines but it's the club and their families that take center stage.  There's a few you won't like and some you'll love but be careful as they are are all shown to be human and fallible...and can do bad things.  Still you'll want to watch more.
The show had to be pushing boundaries back in the day.  This is an outlaw motorcycle club and you'll see everything carnal and violent you'd expect from them.  And then it's ramped up a notch.  I was very surprised what was shown on screen even for cable.  But it's so easy to get sucked in to the machismo it offers up from being cool bikers and you ignore what you see on screen.
My pop road bikes when he was younger and I took a chance.  He loved Sons of Anarchy.  He's 84 and I haven't heard him rave about a show in a very long time.  It really is the characters that'll keep you coming back.  Come season seven you'll be on the edge of your seat wanting to know how it all gets wrapped up.  If you come to my small town and see a 50'ish guy walking his dog in town with a leather vest on...and maybe jean shorts and sandals...make sure you stop and say hi to me.
