2023-2024 Phoenix Basketball Blastser

23-24 Phoenix: Grabbed one of these when they hit the shelves a few weeks back.  I think I've seen Phoenix as one of the designs in Panini Chronicles but this is the first time I've seen them in the wild.  We'll kick it off with Tracy McGrady who somehow never starred in Toronto.  He averaged only 15 points per game before he was traded to Orlando for a first round pick (Fran Vazquez).  What a steal for a future Hall of Famer.  Great photo and great jersey on this one.
The design is not bad.  The scans don't do them justice but does show off the overall design nicely.  Probably not a brand I'll pursue more of.  The price point plays into that and I'm not a shiny card guy.
Enjoyed my Scoot Henderson pull wearing the Rip City jersey on the Instant Phenom insert.

Always happy to see retired greats.
Luguentz Dort has always been good on defense and has improved his shooting from long range over his six-year career.
Great pull on my inserts including Shai and Giannis.  I like the Paragon insert not sure about the Fade to Black design.
The backs are fine, but the lack of stats is always a downer.
Pretty good box of cards but I find myself happier with Hoops and Donruss offerings than I do these other brands with the exception of Contenders.  I wish there were others I liked as well to help round out my collecting.  Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets are struggling as they struggle with depth.
