2024 Chrome: Steve Young had an amazing career considering, sans a 2-12 campaign with the Buccaneers, wasn't a full-time starter until he was 30 years old.
I'm not sure how popular these are but I bit on a hanger box that I think was almost $20. With a lack of logos and at that price point I won't be picking up more at retail. I'll stick to singles. That said I do like the overall design.
We have the RC cards we're used to. Bucky Irving is the standout here rushing for over 1100 yards in his rookie season.
I like the Future Stars inserts. Colorful nice-looking cards. I'm not sure the Finesse cards scream finesse but they are okay.
The backs are fine. The base set is 300 cards strong with the first 200 being retired greats and the last 100 being rookies. Even without a team logo, a Jayden Daniels would have been a fun pull. I love seeing the retired greats and hope they still have a big presence when the license moves. Tom Brady is among that group as well now with his retirement.
I like this All-Etch card and really happy about a Terry Bradshaw pull. Not sure what the "etch" is supposed to be referencing though. I like Sunday Swag.
My parallels. I think these are a Negative Refractor Parallel and Pink Prizm Refractor #/399. I have zero confidence on what the pink parallel actually is. I couldn't find specifics on parallels, but I am assuming I got the pink part correct.
This was fun box even without the team logos.
